Objective : Determine the value of e/m of an Electron by using

Helical Method.

Technical Specifications:

Power supply unit is housed in metal cabinet and comprises of 

Digital Voltmeter, Digital Current Meter, variable DC Power Supplies

400-850V DC(H.T.) & Solenoid supply upto 60V DC(L.T.) in steps.                                        

All important outputs brought out at Bakelite front panel.

Outputs of H.T. Power Supplies brought out at 8 pin connector for

connection to CRT and of L.T. power supply at 4mm terminals.

Also provided with one long Solenoid (4” dia wound on PVC pipe with

23 gauge Copper wire & mounted on Wooden stand),CRT mounted                    

in the Bakelite frame (so that it can slide inside the solenoid),patch

chords & instruction manual
